Manage your insurance

If you are already a Folksam customer, you can continue below for practical information on how to manage your insurance and get support when you need it. And if you prefer personal assistance, you are always welcome to call us for help with your insurance.

Paying by direct debit is smart. The insurance cost is deducted from your account each month, ensuring you never miss a payment, with no added fees.

You can sign up for direct debit in two ways:

With BankID 
Use your BankID to sign the authorization for direct debit. You can choose which insurances to pay by direct debit.

By form
If you cannot use BankID, you can print and sign a form. Place it in an unstamped envelope and send it to the return address provided on the form. Once your authorization is registered, you will receive confirmation of the amount to be deducted from your account and when it will occur.

The day before the payment, we check that there is enough coverage in your account. If there is no money, no direct debit withdrawal will take place. The payment requirement is then moved to the next month.

If we have tried to withdraw money from your account for two consecutive months and have not succeeded, we will send you a payment request by invoice. The invoice refers to the unpaid amount for the past time plus the cost of insurance for the next quarter. If you do not pay the invoice, we will cancel your insurance.

You can report your claim on our website. If it is evening or a weekend and you have an urgent claim, you can call our emergency line at 020-45 00 00.

If you have become a member of a trade union, you will receive a welcome letter with tailored insurance offers designed for your needs as a member. Some insurances are included in your membership, while others can be purchased at a favorable price.

If you have taken out insurance or started saving with us at Folksam and have chosen not to receive your mail digitally, we will send all important information by letter to your mailbox.
